Why is it so difficult to figure out curtains? Length, style, extras like trim. It’s all so confusing. I had previously ordered ivory panels from Calico Corners and paid for their measure/install service which made things much easier.
I decided that our library curtains needed a pick me up in their second year and decided to add this Mary McDonald Malmasion trim
I think the finished product adds just the right amount of oomph to the room. Although I learned some lessons along the way:
1. Always inspect products that you have made- turns out Calico Corners only lined 2/4 panels despite having paid extra for linin
2. Trim should go on when the curtains are made… so much easier than retrofitting!
3. Trim is expensive but it’s the details that complete a room
